The school holidays are always a welcome break from the pressures of school life for everyone in the family. The return to school and the work involved in getting prepared, however, can prove to be quite a stressful exercise.

Thankfully, the stress and hassle can be managed with a few techniques tips and tricks for getting your kids ready for school once the holidays are over.

Check that everything still fits

Sometimes, it can feel as though children grow at the speed of light and that their clothes and shoes have shrunk overnight. So, it is important to check that everything they need for school still fits.

It would be ideal to do so when you have enough time to buy replacements for certain items if the need arises.

See what needs replacing

While you’re checking what needs to be purchased, find out what has been lost or damaged so that everything can be bought in one go.
