The family of Queen Rania Al Abdullah, the Queen consort of Jordan as the wife of King Abdullah II is set to grow as she welcomes a third daughter into the fold when her son, Crown Prince Hussein weds Rajwa Khaled bin Musaed bin Saif bin Abdulaziz Al Saif. 

The pair’s engagement was recently announced by the Royal Hashemite Court and confirmed by Queen Rania who took to Instagram to share some heartfelt messages with the couple. 

“I didn’t think it was possible to hold so much joy in my heart! Congratulations to my eldest Prince Hussein and his beautiful bride-to-be, Rajwa,” wrote the Queen in a caption under a series of photos of the couple.

She also penned a message to her son in Arabic which reads as follows: 

“I prayed to Allah – like me, like every mother – to grant you good and to find the one you love, Rajwa came. Congratulations to my son, Prince Al-Hussein, and our precious and sweet bride Rajwa – May Allah bless you and make you happy and complete well.”

She shared another photo of herself and Rajwa and said; “Excited to welcome my third daughter, Al Hussein’s bride-to-be, Rajwa, to the family! We’re so happy for you both.”

The 28-year-old Crown Prince’s parents were in attendance, alongside Prince El Hassan bin Talal, Prince Hashem bin Abdullah II, Prince Ali bin Al Hussein, Prince Hashim bin Al Hussein, Prince Ghazi bin Muhammad, Prince Rashid bin El Hassan and members of the Al Saif family.

Crown Prince Hussein’s engagement comes shortly after his younger sister, Princess Iman’s own engagement to Jameel Thermiotis.
