The warmer weather is on the way and the fashion world is all about what to wear during spring and summer. We’ve selected a few pieces and trends to help you turn up the heat!

Show off your Bones
A trend easily spotted in many spring and summer collections is the ‘show off that shoulder’ idea, spotted in this Chloé look. Tops and dresses with a low collar leaving the shoulders exposed or the currently named ‘X factor’, where you have the fabric crossing over your chest, are the styles to follow. The design highlights the collar bones for a subtle sexiness, setting the mood for the coming hot days and nights.

Roomy Silhouette

This might be not the easiest trend to wear, but the paper bag waist is here to stay. The high waisted style in trousers and skirts, comes with a belt, usually made with the same fabric, and is best paired with a piece that is tighter on top. Tod’s is one of the brands that embraced the design, its trousers are ankle length to making them a perfect summer choice.

Walking Tall
The platform sandal is the piece to look out for in the new season. The block sole is the perfect way to add height without losing comfort. Platform wedge sandals are a great choice for either work or evening wear. Michael Kors has come up with a cord detail to make the look even more summery, a great choice to go from a daytime stroll to a casual evening.

Crooked Style
The asymmetric hemline skirt has been out there for a few seasons and it will hold its place this spring and summer. The detail can also be spotted in dresses. The unusual cut adds some creativity to both everyday wear and evening gowns. M Missoni painted its skirt with colourful hues and a geometric pattern. Wear it with a basic white T-shirt for a cool and casual look.

Vintage Revisited

Looking for a classic handbag that stole the show at many fashion parades? Go for a chain bag! Fashion houses such as Chanel, Emilio Pucci, Elie Saab and Dsquared2 featured this style in their spring and summer collections. Jimmy Choo also embraced the concept and many of its creations come with a long and sophisticated chain.

Half-Moon
This handbag shape is one of the ‘it’ bags of the season. In extra large or small size, the graphic format gives character to any outfit. It comes in a cross-body style or even as a clutch. Victoria Beckham and Michael Kors are the ones swearing by it! Victoria created an oversized version that is drawing everyone’s attention.
