There are many make-up brushes in the market. Do you know which ones to use? We pick the top five that must feature in your beauty cabinet.

Save Your Blusher
May-2014_Beauty_news2_01If you have to pick one brush to carry along with you, this is the one! The softer this sweeper is, the more delicate the application is going to be. The more dense it is, the more colour you are going to get. Many of them have a slight angle to align with the natural contour of the cheekbones. This helps to put the right amount of blush in the right place.

Read My Lips
If you are in a rush, applying your lipstick or gloss from the tube is acceptable. However, if you are going to a party or have a little bit of time to spend on the lips, use a lip brush. It gives you precise application and evens out the colour, especially with vibrant shades. Don’t forget to clean it up after every use.

All Eyes on You
You have two options to apply your favourite eye shadow. The most popular one is the small flat brush with rounded bristles made out of natural materials. Some people don’t prefer this because it makes the loose powder fall on the area under the eyes. The sponge applicator is a substitute for precision.

Keep Your Powder Dry
The translucent powder applied to deliver a glowing yet matte finish is the final touch to your make-up. To apply it, choose a soft brush as it will be in contact with all parts of your face. Synthetic fibres are a little rough on the skin, so look for ones with natural fibres that will offer a smoother finish. A long dome-shaped brush offers precision.

The Foundation
For flawless skin, apply your foundation with a brush. This beauty tool allows you to apply a light coat that blends into the skin with a ‘barely there’ finish. If you use your fingers, without letting it penetrate properly, you foundation will soon start to crack. Pick a brush with synthetic bristles for better results.
