This most ladylike and girly of colours made a showing on the autum-winter catwalks and has really come into its own for the coming season. From the outlandish at Gucci to pale and pretty at Paule Ka, pink is most definitely having a moment. Michael Kors went for classic floral with a retro patterned twist while Paskal, showing in Paris, went for pink frills on a white background.
Wear It Your Way
There’s an abundance of pink in the shops at the moment from bubblegum to deepest cerise via neon brights. First decide just how far you want to go as head-to-toe pink, even the most pastel variety, can be a little cloying. If you opt for a pink dress, look out for contrasting accessories – black and white are always a good option. If you do decide to stick with pink, consider mixing up your shades to add interest. And if you want to get in on the act but are not completely committed, add pink accessories to jeans or dark pants in a show of fashion cred.
