The Cover Story
October-2015__Letters2I must begin with congratulating you on the amazing cover. It’s not often that we see something so powerful and enigmatic on magazine covers on the island. It speaks volumes about the growth of the magazine and the confident voice it has developed now. I’d like to extend my compliments to Sawsan Taher; what an incredible journey and such an inspiring story! Many women give up on their passions because they are not encouraged to pursue them. But she proved her peers wrong by taking the journey to Ethiopia and her pictures are simply incredible!
Vivien.

Plus size Fashion
I am so glad someone addressed the plus size issue and how to dress if you fall into that bracket. All we end up finding are unflattering silhouettes and all-black ensembles in the stores. I’m sure your article was a God sent for many (definitely for me) since you illustrate how plus size doesn’t necessarily have to be boring. And the three different looks were a big help. I am excited to go shopping now. Thanks!
Najma.

What Women Want
I particularly enjoyed reading this article, as it was such fun, going over all our wants, and there are quite a few of them. In terms of the list, it was good to see that it not only touched upon material possessions but also included ideas that appeal to the conscience. I am an animal lover and am particularly eager to use cruelty-free make up, which would look good on my skin. Could you perhaps suggest a few brands that I could try?
Dilini.
