What is the best period for weddings in Bahrain?
Here in Bahrain we have two seasons for weddings and each has its own advantages.

First is the summer season where most of the hotels provide summer special rates and competitive prices. The second, which I personally prefer, is the winter and spring period, November to April, when the weather is amazing and clients can truly enjoy and appreciate all the wedding arrangements and details of the venue.

Al Areen Palace & Spa is an iconic wedding venue. What makes it so popular?
Our hotel has a lot of unique venues allowing our clients the option to choose any place that will be suitable for them and their event.

What can couples expect when they book a wedding at Al Areen – things that make the venue different to others?
High standards of service and food quality plus the support on every detail needed before and during the wedding.

I would also mention that our venues, both indoors and outdoors, are classic and elegant. The unique architecture and concepts of our place is definitely one of our unique selling points.

Do you have a specific wedding planner and tie-ups with services such as florists, hairdressers?
We do have many wedding planners which our guests can choose from depending on the budget they set for the decorations. With regards to the florists and hairdressers, we do also have these services at Al Areen Palace & Spa.

What packages will you be introducing for coming wedding season?
For the new season we are introducing a special package which is “Wedding on You and Honeymoon on Us”. Also, we encourage our guest to take an early bird booking for their wedding to benefit from the special rates that we provide.

Who are the majority of your wedding clients – Bahrainis/expats/Saudis or a mix?
Our resort is everyone’s favourite hotel and we have a mix of local, Saudi and expat weddings held here because of the different venues they can choose from. We are considered as one of the few wedding island destinations here in Bahrain.
