Started 4 years ago by sisters; Basma & Maryam Al Fahad, Beautopia offers a tranquil environment with passionate and professional stylists and technicians to care for all your beauty needs.
However, what immediately stands out, is their commitment to quality and the importance of education. As a generation, we’re all too aware of trends and viral fashion but do all trends suit us? And when it comes to our hair or skin, is it even good for us?
While salons are slowly inching towards correctional cosmetic treatments, they’re also creating a space for education when it comes to our face, skin and hair and honestly, that’s an incredible move to make. Beautopia is no different, voicing their passion, Wajieda Ahmed, the salon manager tells me ‘Here, it is not only important for our clients to understand what services they are getting but also to educate them on the process. As we go through the process, we’re constantly telling our clients what’s happening.’ Which, for me, as a customer, is so comforting.
It’s important to me, to not only be able to understand what ingredients etc will be used for my treatment or service but also to be able to understand what it does to my hair / skin / nails and also what I can expect. Beautopia takes on a holistic view of beauty, inculcating that while beauty on the outside doesn’t hurt, it’s so important for women to feel empowered from the inside and I agree, that feeling of confidence that we exude after a blow dry makes me feel like I can take on the world!
