Grumpy’s Motorcycle Emporium, a motorcycle workshop and communal space in Tubli is offering free motorcycle workshops for women in Bahrain.
The communal space which is located in Tubli is launching its second class this week Thursday, September 15 2022. In the class, there will be information shared about motorcycle brake systems, fuel injection, T-CLOCS inspection and a question and answer segment.
According to Challace Melvin known as Dollar, co-owner of Grumpy Biker’s Emporium, “We started this business because we wanted to help the Biker community in Bahrain.”
Workshops are free and start at 6 pm.
The shop started operating on August 12.
“At Grumpy’s we take great pride in making people feel welcome and at home. Grumpy’s Biker Emporium opened on August 12th it is a totally different concept we want to empower people to learn to do maintenance on their own motorcycles.”, says Dollar.
How Grumpy’s was started:
In a bid to provide a unique service to the biker community in Bahrain, Biker’s was started. She says: “Grumpy’s was started because we listened to the Biker Community in Bahrain. They have no place to gather to enjoy the company of other Bikers. We provide a comfortable place to hang out as well as work on your motorcycle.”
“Grumpys” as it has become known is a space where the biking community can enjoy a pool table, a Dart Board and a Corn Hole game as well as cards Dominos and other games.
“We have a relaxation area with a television. We want to serve our community we want to help others. We will be a stop on the Up coming Think Pink Ride Oct 2 . We are also a working on the Smile Ride,” adds Dollar.

The Motorcycle Emporium will host the woman’s workshop this Thursday September 14 2022 at 6 pm for free.
