The Bahraini pearl drop earrings were part of Queen Elizabeth II’s Royal Collection, which is the world’s largest private art collection that is spread between 13 occupied and royal residences.

The earrings were made from two pearls out of the seven large pearls gifted to young Princess Elizabeth at her wedding in 1947 by Sheikh Salman Bin Hamad Al-Khalifa.

Each earring features one brilliant-cut round diamond, four small round diamonds, and three baguette-cut diamonds, with the Bahraini pearl dangling below.
