Supriya Reginald – In Her Shoes

The Kingdom of Bahrain has no shortage of phenomenal women. This month, we had the absolute pleasure of meeting Supriya Reginald, a true people person who is aptly the HR Manager at The Foundry. She describes herself as a “combination of every Disney characters’ quirky traits”, and given her bubbly personality, we can see why! Let’s take a walk in her shoes.

I’m grateful for everything I’ve accomplished.

Gene Kelly’s ‘Singing In The Rain.’

If you had to eat the same three-course meal every day for the rest of your life, what would it consist of?
Oh the horror! Quite the predicament to be indefinitely limited to a three-course meal. Alright, Mom’s Mutton Biryani, Beetroot Salad and Rasmalai.

“No stones are thrown at a fruitless tree.” It means that if you face hardship, it’s because you’re doing something worthwhile.

Name three things you can’t live without?
My mum’s blessings
My sister’s support
My fiancé’s love

What’s your favourite movie?
City Lights! One of Chaplin’s greatest masterpieces.

What’s your dream holiday destination?
Any tropical island! Being stranded on one might actually be a dream come true.

Since you grew up here, what’s the thing you love most about Bahrain?
It never ceases to give me a homely sensation. This dot on the map is home… it always will be.

Name a skill you’d like to learn.
Being able to walk without tripping on thin air. #PracticingSince1991
