Shamsaha, the first and only multilingual, 24/7 mobile app-based crisis support service for women in the Middle East, today launches Shamsaha App 2.0, developed in collaboration with RainCode, a leading Bahraini software development company.
The enhanced app marks a major milestone in Shamsaha’s mission to empower women by providing confidential, accessible, and culturally sensitive support — both behind closed doors and across borders.
A New Era of Accessibility and Safety
Shamsaha App 2.0 builds on years of field experience and user feedback to offer a more intuitive, secure, and comprehensive service platform. The new version introduces upgraded navigation, advanced privacy and safety features, a simplified chat interface, and improved access to 24/7 crisis support in multiple languages.
Through this partnership, Shamsaha and RainCode demonstrate how technology and compassion unite to protect and empower women across Bahrain and the wider region.
