With countries across the world in lockdown or experiencing severe restrictions in movement as governments battle the coronavirus, the world has become a pretty weird place with many experiencing loneliness, depression and more.
To bring some relief, and support and celebrate healthcare workers, superstar Lady Gaga has teamed up with advocacy organisation Global Citizen to curate a special performance, ‘One World: Together At Home,’ which will air on Saturday, April 18 at 8pm ET (3am Bahrain time) on US networks ABC, NBC, CBS, iHeartMedia and Bell Media, as well as streaming live on online platforms including YouTube, Apple, Facebook, Instagram and Twitter.
Late-night stars Stephen Colbert, Jimmy Fallon and Jimmy Kimmel will host the two-hour special which will feature appearances by Alanis Morissette, Andrea Bocelli, Billie Eilish, Billie Joe Armstrong, Chris Martin, David Beckham, Eddie Vedder, Elton John, John Legend, Kacey Musgraves, Keith Urban, Kerry Washington, Lizzo, Paul McCartney, Stevie Wonder and many more.
There’ll also be Interviews with experts from the World Health Organisation, and stories of healthcare workers from around the world.
