This four-star favourite, in the heart of Juffair, has special offers on dining and more, right the way through the week.

Start your day with a full-spread breakfast. Eggs cooked to your liking, from fried over-easy to omelettes, scrambled or pretty much anything else you can think of. A range of cooked and cold meats. A seriously tempting array of sweet and savoury pastries and breads as well as top-quality fresh fruits and 11 different cheeses.

There are also some surprising dishes that might usually be found on the dinner menu, with the chef assuring: “People from different parts of the world prefer different things for breakfast, and may arrive in the morning after a long journey, so we are very conscious of making sure there is something every guest will enjoy.”

Breakfast is served from 6.30am-10.30am and is priced at just BD5.

At lunch time, there is the regular buffet Sunday to Thursday but, for those in a hurry, the hotel has recently launched the Express Lunch from 12.30pm to 3.30pm with a selection of light foods that can be cooked quickly, such as noodles with a range of sauces, as well as tasty paninis and sandwiches for those who want to grab and go. The Express Lunch package is priced at BD5.5++.

The evenings are when The K Hotel’s KOLORS restaurant really comes into its own with theme nights running throughout the week.

Sunday is the newly-launched Filipino Night with live music and lots of traditional dishes such as chicken adobo and beef kare-kare, a rich stew in a savoury peanut sauce, all prepared by the K culinary team. This new night is priced at BD7.5++.

From Monday to Wednesday, the theme is American with ribs on Monday – juicy and tender with all the accompaniments; Tuesday is Italo-American featuring dishes such as pasta and pizza that have their roots in Italy but have become firm favourites Stateside; and Wednesday is the night to enjoy the hotel’s famed American Barbecue, promising great, high-quality meats and burgers – as much as you can eat, it’s a meat-lover’s dream. These nights cost BD6++ each.

Thursday is another new addition to the line-up in the shape of Asian Night which features favourite dishes from across the continent from India and Sri Lanka to Thailand, China, Japan, Philippines and more all for the great price of BD7.5++.

All of the theme nights have live cooking stations allowing you to make your choice and have your selection prepared to your exact liking.
To finish the week, the KOLORS brunch features an enormous spread of more than 200 items from soups and salads to savoury appetisers, main courses, live cooking stations and mouthwatering desserts.

One of the big attractions of the popular Friday event is the seafood; always plentiful and fresh and no extra charges on the regular BD14.5++ brunch price for special items such as lobster and other shellfish.

The brunch also has a live band and a beverage package which can be included for an extra BD7++.

So, with all this on offer, The K Hotel really does have something for everyone to try and they’re looking forward to welcoming you in the New Year.
