We can already hear the Christmas carols playing on the jukebox, telling us that 2015 is ending and a new circle is about to start. Together with this feeling of farewell, I use the opportunity to say goodbye to you. It has been an enormous pleasure to sit in the editor’s chair of Woman This Month creating exciting and interesting pages for you every month. However, a new circle is definitely starting in my personal life with the arrival of a new family member.
You will still see me around in our regular fashion and beauty pages, but our editorial director, Liz O’Reilly, is the one that will greet you and conduct the magazine in 2016 (something that she has already been doing in the backstage!).
To end the year in great style, we’d like to introduce you to 12 ladies that we loved in 2015. Each of them representing their fields; girl (or woman) power, here we go! Behnaz Sanjana, whose name you’ve previously seen on our wellbeing pages, is now part of the team (Welcome Behnaz!) and she spoke to the incredible women of The Palm Association regarding their work and their 15th anniversary.
Influenced by the Christmas spirit, you will find a wide selection of pages dedicated to the theme. Home decoration, party dress-codes, the best places to celebrate the festivities on the island and more. We’ve also tracked the hotels’ tree lightings in our diary page. As we all know, this joyful time is also used to spoil our loved ones. We prepared a special online gift guide so you can shop from the comfort of your home this year!
