Speed of Light

Porsche Middle East and Africa has partnered with world-renowned DJ and producer David Guetta to unveil an electrifying new campaign spotlighting its cutting-edge electric vehicles – the Macan Turbo and Taycan Turbo GT.

Shot at the visually striking Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Solar Park near Dubai, the campaign blends high-performance automotive design with the pulsating energy of electronic music in a dazzling spectacle of lights, sound and innovation.

Power, Precision and Performance
Set against the vast backdrop of one of the world’s largest solar parks – spanning 127 square kilometres and featuring over two million solar panels – the campaign film features Mr. Guetta performing a specially produced Future Rave remix of his global hit Titanium. The 263-metre solar tower, the tallest of its kind, becomes an otherworldly DJ booth as the French icon spins his set amidst a flurry of choreographed laser beams and sleek Porsche models in motion.

In the cinematic sequence, the new Macan Turbo and the Taycan Turbo GT take centre stage, speeding through the solar facility’s futuristic landscape. With this project, Porsche not only showcases the power and elegance of its latest electric models, but also underscores its commitment to innovation and sustainability in the region.

A Collaboration of Icons
Speaking about the partnership, Mr. Guetta says: “This collaboration is one of those things you dream of as a kid. Porsche has always stood for emotion, performance and pushing the limits – just like my music. Being part of this project has truly inspired me.”

As one of the most influential electronic music artists of the past two decades, Mr. Guetta’s legacy of boundary-pushing creativity aligns seamlessly with Porsche’s reputation for engineering excellence and relentless progress.

The campaign does more than entertain – it educates. Three behind-the-scenes episodes accompany the main film, offering a deeper look into the creative process, the technology behind the shoot, and Porsche’s evolving vision for electric mobility. All content is available on Porsche’s Newsroom an official social media channels.

Dubai as the Perfect Backdrop
Dr. Manfred Bräunl, Chief Executive Officer of Porsche Middle East and Africa FZE, highlighted the significance of the location. “Dubai is a city that never stops surprising,” he explains. “The solar park is an incredible location, and not many people know about it. That’s when we thought, it’s perfect for Porsche as it aligns with our clear path towards sustainability.”

The production was supported by the UAE
Ministry of Economy and Tourism and the Dubai Electricity & Water Authority (DEWA), which operates the solar park. With goals to power nearly two million homes by 2030 and reduce over eight million tonnes of CO₂ emissions annually, DEWA embodies the very ideals Porsche aims to champion in its electric future.

Trailblazing Technology
The Macan Turbo, the top-tier model in Porsche’s new generation of all-electric SUVs, delivers up to 470 kW (639 bhp) and an astonishing 1,130 Nm of torque. It sprints from 0 to 100 kmph in just 3.3 seconds, reaching a top speed of 260 kmph. The car pairs Porsche’s signature driving performance with everyday practicality, embodying the future of luxury SUVs.

Meanwhile, the Taycan Turbo GT stands as Porsche’s most powerful production car to date, with peak power exceeding 1,100 bhp in select versions. The variant equipped with the Weissach package, designed specifically for track use, has set records at four major circuits across the globe, including Nürburgring Nordschleife and the Interlagos Circuit in São Paulo.

Driving Forward
With this visually arresting campaign, Porsche reinforces its strategy to lead the way in the luxury electric vehicle market. Merging cinematic storytelling, iconic music and industry-defining design, Speed of Light is a celebration of a bold new era.
