Creating the cover of this issue of Woman This Month was a passionate journey that brought together some of Bahrain’s finest creative talents. From the initial concept to the final frame, every element of this shoot was designed to celebrate beauty, artistry and craftsmanship in its purest form.
The vision for the shoot was brought to life under the expert direction of Concept Director Esky Dubois, whose ability to weave storytelling into visuals made this cover stand out. Esky worked closely with Creative Coordinator Amina Syed, whose attention to detail ensured the smooth execution of every aspect. From coordinating the dazzling wardrobe and accessories to managing the team on set, Amina’s seamless organisation was the backbone of this project.
Behind the lens was renowned photographer Fareeba Ali, whose remarkable ability to capture both grace and power gave the cover its unique allure. Fareeba’s meticulous attention to lighting and composition ensured that each shot was a masterpiece. Complementing her artistry was stylist Hasham Baig of La Mode by Hasham, who curated a selection of pieces that reflected sophistication with a contemporary twist.
Taking centre stage was the stunning Zenit Degene, whose magnetic presence and effortless elegance brought the concept to life. Zenit is undoubtedly a model to watch out for, and her ability to channel confidence and grace into every shot is indicative of her rising star power.
Adding to the opulence of the cover was the exquisite jewellery from Bahar Jewellery, featuring hundreds of Bahrain’s coveted natural pearls. These pearls not only symbolise Bahrain’s rich maritime heritage but also add a timeless elegance to the overall look. This exquisite pearl set featured earrings, a necklace and a versatile twist of pearls which can grace one’s arm or waist. Large yet intricate details in gold, embellished with precious stones, further elevate this set so it may always turn heads. Paired with the unique outfit from Pom Pom Boutique, the ensemble struck the perfect balance between modernity and tradition.
The beauty element of the shoot was equally a standout. Hair was styled by the talented team at Amor Sui Salon, who created a polished and radiant look that enhanced Zenit’s natural features. Meanwhile, renowned cosmetics brand Flormar handled the makeup, using high-quality products to craft a look that was both bold and refined, ensuring Zenit shone under the spotlight.
This issue’s cover shoot is a celebration of collaboration and championing some of the incredible talent thriving in Bahrain’s fashion and beauty industry. It’s one that celebrates the confidence and beauty of women, while shining a light on the rich heritage of our beautiful Bahrain – The Pearl of the Gulf
