Woman This Month is proud to have officially opened nominations for the second edition of the Woman of the Year Awards 2025, a national initiative recognising outstanding achievements by women across a range of professional and social sectors.
The awards aim to highlight the contributions of Bahraini women who demonstrate leadership, creativity and commitment in their respective fields while shaping the future of the Kingdom.
Submissions can now be made via womanoftheyearawards.com, with 17 accolades spread across six diverse categories. The awards seek to shine a light on women who are making a meaningful impact in their respective fields – from entrepreneurship and community service to science, art and beyond.
This year, special emphasis is placed on the Orange Economy category, developed in strategic collaboration with UNIDO. This global initiative recognises the importance of the creative industries – including design, media, fashion, music and digital content – as engines of inclusive and sustainable development. The Orange Award will spotlight women contributing to Bahrain’s creative sector while aligning with international goals for economic growth through innovation and culture.
