Public voting is now open for the Woman Of The Year Awards 2024 which will take place in December.
Earlier this year, the Woman This Month team announced the launch of the Woman Of The Year Awards 2024. The prestigious event which is set to take place in December will honour the outstanding contributions of women in Bahrain across various industries and sectors.
Over 400 nominations were received from the public, of which 51 percent were Bahraini nationals. After careful consideration, interviews and a meticulous scoring process carried out by the Awards Review Committee (ARC) and audited by Assure Consulting, we are proud to reveal that we have shortlisted nominees across 19 final categories.
The highest number of nominations were received across the Health, Education, and Social, Lifestyle and Media, and Business and Financial categories which received 70, 49 and 45 nominees respectively.
Our team would like to commend our readers and the women of Bahrain for their enthusiastic participation, which was recorded across several nationalities and categories.
In addition, we would like to thank the participants, especially those holding senior positions and having busy schedules covering personal and professional commitments for cooperating with our team. We appreciate your time, effort and avid participation which ensured that every part of the process including the filling of forms, interviews and other procedures went smoothly. Your enthusiasm and cooperation have greatly contributed to the success of the first edition of the awards.
We would also like to recognise the self-nominated women and those who are participating in an awards programme for the first time. It is the ultimate objective of the Woman Of The Year Awards 2024 to give recognition where it is due.
