The topics selected are appropriate to young readers, making it safe for free navigation. It’s a good start for your child to get used to the journalistic writing style, with subjects such as science, sports and entertainment. Besides news, the website has a section that helps your child study with a selection of exercises and printable sheets

There is one toy that kids of all ages, boys and girls alike, certainly love – building blocks! This kind of game exercises creativity and gives a sense of engineering and can now be played virtually. Lego and Google Chrome partnered to create a site for master builders to develop their creations. The building platform can be seen from different angles and rotates for best visualisation. A safe and child-friendly search engine powered by Google. Nowadays a lot of kids come from school with homework that requires research on an array of subjects and instead of using encyclopedias, they have the World Wide Web. However, many parents know that it isn’t a safe environment for kids and they must watch closely. With kiddle, they can do the research on their own. Once a query is placed into the search bar, the first one to three results will include sites and pages that are written specifically for kids. The next four to seven feature sites with content that is written in simple language and from eight onwards there are sites written for adults, that are a bit harder for children to comprehend, but still filtered by Google safe search.

A safe and child-friendly search. If your kid is an animal lover, this magazine’s website brings an assortment of incredible images, videos and information about all sort of creatures. Kids can also explore the world using a map, get to know more about the space and find homework help. There is also a badge zone where kids can collect achievement stickers for being active in the website. It is necessary to sign up, but it is free and easy to enrol.
