From fashion faux-pas to fashion’s front line, we bring you the looks you simply have to see!

Amber Heard
Amber Heard was also present at this year’s SAG awards. She was dressed in an edgy, but extremely cool cut out Zac Posen pre-Autumn 2012 gown. We love the shoulder and waist detail — it provides a nice contrast to her sleekly coiffed golden locks. She accessorised with simple H. Stern jewellery. The copper eye shadow works well. We love this look.

Diane Kruger
Kruger is ever the fashion-forward young woman — she’s many people’s style totem and muse to a few designers. Normally she falls on the right side of edgy-chic, so it is nice to see her in something very feminine. Her Erdem Spring 2012 dress is straight off one of our favourite SS12 catwalks. Her metallic clutch and floral earrings went well with the gown.

Jessica Alba
Jessica attended the opening night of the “Numeros Prives” exhibition in Nevada wearing a gorgeous monochrome Chanel Resort 2012 midi dress. This is really fashion-forward for Jessica, who is usually girlier in her choices. Her sleek, straight hair and Chanel jewellery complemented the look perfectly.

Drew Barrymore

The Charlie’s Angels star was photographed in Washington for the screening of Big Miracle. For the occasion she wore a really interesting Ports 1961 dress from the pre-Autumn 2012 collection. We like the blurry houndstooth print and the green colour really suits her strawberry blonde locks. We do wish she’d paid a bit more attention to the styling though.

Natalie Portman

The Black Swan actress and young mother turned up to the Screen Actor’s Guild Awards in this absolutely gorgeous, plum coloured Giambattista Valli Spring 2012 couture dress. The bow detail on the bust is reminiscent of previous seasons, but it is elegant and feminine, so timeless. She paired the look with Harry Winston jewels and a Judith Leiber glittery clutch.

Elizabeth Banks

Ms Banks went for a pretty tried and tested look whilst promoting Man on a Ledge, but that doesn’t stop it being very attractive. She popped on an Emilio Pucci Resort 2012 mini-dress. The embellished gown had a cute keyhole open back. We adore her Christian Louboutin gold, studded “Lady Max” sandals.

Kirsten Dunst
We have to say, we totally adore this look on Kirsten. Recently, she’s opted for things that have really washed her out or ill-fitting dresses. This look is totally on-trend, very New York and extremely enviable. She paired a black Roland Mouret Spring 2012 dress with a fur-collared Derek Lam pre-Autumn 2012 jacket. Her Chloe clutch is the perfect accent.

Emmy Rossum
Emmy turned up in support of one of our favourite designers — Jason Wu — as he unveiled his concession collection for American superstore Target. Although the look was elegant enough, we can’t help but think that the “concession” aspect of the collection shows through. The look is cute, but wouldn’t rival many of the high-end looks sported by her celebrity friends.
