Pantone’s colours of the year 2016 are, for the first time, two: rose quartz and serenity. We’ve created three looks inspired by the soft shades mixing pieces from autumn and winter 2015/16 and spring and summer 2016. It’s in-between-seasons time in the fashion world!
Rose Meets Serenity
The two colours can be easily mixed. You can go for an entire look pairing light blue and pale pink, or introduce other hues to complement these baby shades. As the weather starts to get warmer again, white and camel are the best picks for a summery final look. A lightweight, long-sleeved shirt and skinny trousers make this casual outfit a good choice for your daily errands. The combination of soft tones transforms any laid-back style into a sophisticated choice. The colour scheme also announces that springtime is about to visit us again!

Monochrome Twist
The duo black and white is upgraded with the light blue serenity shade as the focal colour. The crop top and comfy trousers are a statement for hot days. For the chilly, breezy outdoor nights, that are still very much present on the island, throw on an ethnic poncho for a stylish add-on. The accessories set a cool tone; opt for a cross-body handbag for this kind of casual look and pick a graphic necklace for an amazing effect. A pair of colour-blocking high heeled sandals finalise the composition in style.

Dusty Flush
The pink blush tone is easily worn with a brown palette and white accents as seen in the first look. However, there is one shade that is super trendy for cold days that matches perfectly with rose quartz – grey. This cloudy hue is also popular for the new season, coming in a washed version for hot days. Paint your accessories in silver and snakeskin print (obviously fake skin; there are beautifully done stamps in the market that reproduce the reptilian vibe) to add some shade variation and texture to the final look.
