Celebrating over a century of impeccable design is not something many brands can do; this fashion house just completed 125 years of success.
Lanvin is the oldest French fashion house still in business. Founded by Jeanne Lanvin in 1889, they celebrate 125 years of inspiring designs. To commemorate this milestone, the number 125 has been added to the illustration by Paul Iribe, which represents Jeanne and her daughter Marguerite.
Social media channels play the main role in this celebration. Lanvin’s Facebook page brings exclusive material every Thursday. On Pinterest, you can find boards of images and videos illustrating the DNA, codes and themes of the Lanvin brand. On Instagram, objects from Jeanne Lanvin’s office are being unveiled, such as embroidery books, magazines and travel journals.
The brand’s website has a new section called Lanvin History, featuring photos charting the fashion house’s heritage since it was first unveiled.
An archive video footage and original gouaches from the founder can also be found online. Take a journey through the many trends that changed with the times.
