Liz_OReilly_Editorial_DirectorWelcome to winter, although it may not feel much like it just yet. We’re celebrating this month as former editor Fernanda Langhammer returns to the fold to take control of the fashion pages in her inimitable style.

We’ve introduced some new options in the fashion section to help you make the best choices including a monthly mood board, featuring the latest colours and the best ways to wear them, and a top ten of must try looks and items for this month. We’ve also taken a look at the exciting new collaboration between H&M and designer Erdem, which has caused much excitement in the WTM office, and made space for a designer focus feature, starting this month with Misha Nonoo – she of Husband Shirt fame – who just happens to have a rather big Bahrain connection!

Our cover boasts that we have more fashion and beauty than ever before and to back this up we’ve added tips and more reviews in the beauty section as well as a regular styling page from celebrity hair guru Asgar Sabu.

Interviews this month include the inspirational Karlyn Pipes, a world-beating swimmer, who speaks candidly about her battle with alcoholism, ahead of her trip to the island to coach Ironman contestants. We also caught up with writer Shabana Feroze, who is no stranger to battling her own demons and has come up with life and style advice for young women.

Former WTM staffer Zilia Monteiro tells us about a childhood ambition that’s led her in a totally different career path and young mum Afnan Darwish speaks with passion about leaving the high-flying world of banking to set up her own child-based business.

Seeking vacation inspiration now the kids are back at school? Then, look no further than our travel pages where you’ll find info on three great festivals that will make for fab cultural journeys.

And, if it’s ideas for new home décor you’re after, then we’ve got that covered too taking a leaf out of Khloé Kardashian’s book to come up with some great Moroccan-based style ideas.

Truthfully this month is about more, more, more. More fashion, more beauty and more interviews. I’d love to hear your thoughts through our social media pages and website, where you’ll find updates and competitions throughout the month.
