Liz_OReilly_Editorial_DirectorWelcome to the March edition in which we’re celebrating the fabulous 50s (and beyond), those who’ve made it to half a century and are still inspiring us with their fitness, drive and general fabulousity. Check out expert tips and wise words on how to maintain your sparkle from two of our favourite 50-plus ladies.

In the final part of our three-month wellness campaign, we’ve also got advice on how to get started with exercise, whether you’re heading into your sixth decade or simply haven’t taken up the fitness challenge yet.

Our interviews this month stick with the fitness theme with both Lana Peters and Zahra Al Shaikh sharing their passion for businesses that help them make a difference to people’s health. And in the homes section, Ankita Mamgain takes a look at ways to bring wellness into your living space.

Don’t panic though, we haven’t gone completely fitness crazy. The travel section brings you the ultimate party with ideas on where to spend St Patricks Day – you might find some of them surprising. And Ankita also went to Amsterdam this month, the restaurant not the city, for a taste of pure indulgence.

In the parenting section, Dr Jinan brings up an issue experienced by man parents – lactose intolerance and how to deal with it. And our guest writer this month, Caroline Beckett, explains how coaching, more commonly used by adults, can have a great impact on your kids too.

As always we’ve rounded up the latest fashions and there’s a sneak peak at the new season’s trends, which we’ll be covering in more detail next issue. But while the cooler weather’s still with us, I’m rather taken by Fernanda Langhammer’s selection of the best bomber jackets to beat the wind’s chill.

For our beauty review Ankita visited the indulgent Al Areen Palace & Spa to try the latest treatment, a hot candle massage. It’s the very latest offering and I have to confess, it’s rather tickled my fancy.

Hope you find something in this month’s issue to tickle yours too.
Enjoy!
