The new season is the perfect time to clear out your make-up bag and try out new lotions and potions. We have news of some of the best offerings of the season.
Batiste Dry Shampoo. The world’s number one dry shampoo has officially launched in the Middle East. The brand recently unveiled five variants of its dry shampoo fragrance range: Blush, Original, Oriental, Cherry and Floral – making its product line widely available. Led by Kuwaiti celebrity beauty blogger, Fouz Al Fahad, the launch took place at Soh Art + Beauty in Dubai, where guests got the chance to try the product and received instant hair makeovers.
MAC Collaborations. The international giant has teamed up with three adored make-up maestros – Diane Kendal, James Kaliardos and Kabuki – to create colour collections reflecting each artist’s signature style. From lipsticks and glosses to foundations and dazzling eye shadows and opulent mascaras, each collection features the essential to recreate complete runway looks.
Bobbi Brown Remedies. A new collection of six treatments. From severe dehydration to irritation and to problem skin, Remedies addresses a range of skin concerns and offers a comprehensive approach to achieving healthy, beautiful skin. They can be used individually or layered with skincare and foundation for fully customised solutions.
Lancôme Teint Idole Ultra Cushion and Cushion Blush. A new foundation cushion with the patent-pending Cushion Polar technology designed to adapt to a thicker, creamier texture offering higher coverage. Its secret: a reinvented sponge-cushion covered with an unprecedented mesh. There’s also Cushion Blush Subtil with a smooth, light and melt-away texture giving dazzling radiance in six rosy or orange variations.
Clarins Hydra-Essential Moisturisers. Clarins research looked at daily thermal shocks and demonstrated, for the first time, their impact on the skin’s capacity to retain water. To address the problem, they use the succulent organic leaf of life, found in Madagascar, combined with a new anti-pollution complex to offer an intense hydrating action.
Wow by Wojooh Curl Revolution, Shape & Sculpt Mascara. This promises to instantly curl, lengthen and separate your lashes for a high-definition effect. Its specifically designed brush is made of silicon discs and bristles to grab even the tiniest lashes. But wait, there’s more! Its long-lasting and non- sticky formula will ensure the highest definition result a girl could ask for.
Estée Lauder Revitalising Supreme Global Anti-Aging Collection. A new range of multi-action moisturisers featuring exclusive moringa extract which supports skin’s natural activation of protein Nrf2 to help ‘turn on’ multiple anti-aging benefits, including new anti-irritation and anti-oxidant pathways. It also helps amplify the benefits of a powerful collagen complex, while a prickly pear cactus extract nourishes and strengthens the skin’s moisture barrier.
Lancaster Sun Sport. Sun Sport products are now ‘intelligent’; they target the full sunlight spectrum (UVB, UVA, visible light and infrared), are water- and sweat-resistant and offer a cooling effect. With invisible, non-oily, non-sticky formulas they include alcohol-free, oil-free mists for the body that immediately take on a dry touch finish and can be applied to wet skin.
Guerlain Abeille Royale Eye Cream. Guerlain research has come up with a new eye cream boasting an exclusive royal jelly used in an extremely high concentration. It appears as a rich and silky-smooth balm, inspired by royal jelly, to form an ultra-fine film across the eye contour, offering targeted action to replenish the skin.
Rimmel Scandaleyes. The new Scandaleyes Reloaded Mascara Extreme Black & Waterproof has an innovative formula giving lashes up to 11 times more volume for a clump-free killer look. The unique synergy of waxes and polymers creates an intense, leather-black volumising film that rapidly adheres to lashes, building volume more quickly and without clumps.
