From parents to youngsters, there is something for everyone at the Bahrain Family Expo which takes place under the patronage of Shaikh Khaled bin Humood Al Khalifa, the CEO of Bahrain Tourism and Exhibition Authority.

Running over three days from February 9-11, Bahrain Family Expo incorporates Bahrain Schools Expo and the popular Mother and Child Expo and aims to be a “one-stop shop” for parents seeking the best educational institution for their children. Bahrain Schools Expo will bring together outstanding schools, nurseries, afterschool clubs and educational institutions all under one roof, while the Mother and Child Expo showcases products and services related to mums and kids with plenty of experts on hand to answer question on a variety of topics.

Now in its third year, the event has attracted great interest from parents with one previous show visitor saying:“Finding the right school for my child is one of the most important things to me. It can be hard in Bahrain because you often have to visit the schools one by one which is sometimes difficult when you are working.” Another added: “The mother and child workshops helped me a lot with all the expert advice and consultations provided. The most important stage for a child is the early years and it made me more prepared and confident in taking the best decisions for my child.”

Excitement and enthusiasm has also been engendered at schools and childcare institutions across the country for the event. Not only will they have stalls to meet parents face-to-face but they will also be able to answer questions and discuss important topics in the seminar corner; while their students show case their talents on the stage for all to see!

The exhibitors are the very best education providers in Bahrain. They are happy to be involved in the schools and childcare show since it will give them the opportunity to demonstrate to parents theiradherenceto the Ministry of Education’s high standards and also to illustrate how they meet the learning needs of every child in their care, sostudents can achieve their full potential.

Other than the expo’s educational values, organiser Groovy Events is also hosting a variety of fun activities and entertainment for all the family to enjoy. Play areas and learning exercises will be assigned for the kids there’ll also be a reading corner along with stage performances throughout the show from school students.

The event has been very successful over the last few years having come about as the brainchild Groovy Events CEO, who says:“The idea came to me when I was trying to find schools for my two children and I realised how much hassle it was. So we decided to remove the hassle, invited schools and childcare institutions to exhibit with us, so the schools and childcare show was born and it took off from there!”
